// About
Voltline started in 2011 with one van and one apprentice. Today we’re a 14-strong team of NICEIC-registered electricians looking after homes and small businesses across Bristol, Bath and the South West — but every job is still scoped, scheduled and signed off by a named engineer you can call.

// Story
Marcus Halloway founded Voltline in 2011 after twelve years as an electrical engineer with the REME. The pitch hasn’t changed much since: turn up when you said you would, certify every job, tell people the truth about cost before starting.
Today the team covers homes and small businesses across the South West. We don’t use sub-contractors. We don’t take a deposit unless the job is over £2,000. We guarantee labour for ten years on every install — which is unusually long for the trade, and deliberately so.
We also run two apprentice slots every year through SGS College in Filton. The trade isn’t short of work — it’s short of well-trained people, and we want to do our bit to fix that.

The same person who scopes your job is the same person who turns up to do it. No call-centre middle-tier, no “the lads” you’ve never met.
